About The Event
Calling all small business owners! Would you like direct access to members of the Ohio General Assembly and public policy staff? Join us in Columbus for COSE Day at the Capitol on Tuesday, April 26 where you will have the unique opportunity to meet with policymakers and discuss ways in which we can work together to enhance the small business climate in Ohio.
This annual event provides access to key stakeholders and allows you the chance to engage in dialogue with your elected officials about the issues and challenges facing small businesses today. In addition, you will have an opportunity to network and build relationships with fellow, like-minded small business owners who face similar challenges and are working daily to make a difference in their communities, just like you.
In addition to visiting with legislators, the day will include the following speakers:
- Representative Barbara Sears
- Senate President Keith Faber
- Representative Mike Duffey
- Senator Joe Uecker
- Larry Wolpert, Executive Director, Joint Committee on Agency Rule
- Chris McNulty, Director, Community & Political Affairs, 2016 Republican National Convention
- Ryan Burgess, Director, Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation
- David Goodman, Director, Ohio Development Services Agency
Transportation to and from Columbus, food, and refreshments are provided at no charge to you. All attendees will be provided background materials on small business issues and the legislators you will be meeting to make your experience easy and enjoyable.
